Ministry Update

May - August 2011

Dear Praying Friends,

Summer has already come and gone in a whirlwind of activity. We have had some great meetings and exciting adventures as we travelled across the country proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We rearranged our schedule a little in May so that I could fly to Alaska and surprise my mother for Mother's day, as well as attend my nephew's graduation. It was a successful trip all the way around. Mom was very surprised and the graduation was a real blessing.

The last week of May we were in a revival meeting at Victory Baptist Church in Milton, Florida with Pastor Tim Fellure. Victory Baptist is an exciting church and we always enjoy ministering there.

For some reason, the person responsible for scheduling our meetings (that would be me) scheduled our next meeting in Ontario, Canada, so we had quite a drive ahead of us! I'm trying to find someone willing to do our schedule so that I will have somebody to blame! Our meeting at Haven Baptist in Nepean, Ontario was a blessing. The people very responsive and eager to hear the Word of God.

We had a serious problem with the trailer on our way to Canada and the folks at Haven Baptist went way above and beyond the call of duty to get us up and running before we left for our next meeting. We are always humbled to see how God puts people in our path that know just what to do when we are at a complete loss. Thank you Brother Eric for allowing God to use you to be a blessing to us!

You will have to check out the new pictures on our website if you want to see some of our "vehicle misadventures". I have gotten good at taking pictures of disabled vehicles on the side of the road, I just wish it wasn't our vehicles all of the time. I have also learned that if it is going to rain and we are going to break down, for some reason, those two events will almost always occur at the same time!

On our way South from Canada we stopped for a great Sunday at Walker Bible Baptist Church in Hilton, NY, before going down to Harmony, PA for the annual tent meeting at First Bible Baptist Church. Pastor Smith and the people of First Bible Baptist work hard and put on a great meeting and we were blessed to be a part of it.

It seems we had a summer full of Tent meetings and Bible Conferences along with our regular full schedule of revival meetings. It was very tiring, but at the same time, encouraging and refreshing.

Hope and David were able to attend Vacation Bible School at a couple of different churches and so they had a great time.

The first week of July I flew to California to preach for a youth camp sponsored by Lighthouse Baptist Church in La Verne, California. We had a great Sunday at the church and then headed up into the mountains for camp. We had several young people saved that week and some truly life-changing decisions made. What a blessing to see young people excited about living for the Lord.

The second week of August, Liz and I had the privilege of once again being a part of the Pastor's School at Treasure Valley Baptist Church in Meridian, Idaho. The 2011 Pastor's School was a tremendous success with over one hundred Pastors in attendance. Next year the Pastor's School will be at Hope Baptist Church in Toledo, Ohio. If you can find a way to attend I know it would be well worth your time and you would be blessed and encouraged. Plan ahead now and you will be glad you did.

As I mentioned at the beginning, we are heading into a busy Fall with a full schedule of revival meetings all around the country. Will you pray with us that God would truly send revival? I believe with all of my heart that our only hope is real revival, and I believe it is still possible, if we are willing to let God work.

Our 15th Anniversary CDs are now available on our website. We have had a great response from people all around the country who have been blessed by the songs on those CD's. We trust they will be a blessing to you as well.

Thank you for your continued prayers.

God bless you,

Mark Rogers
